Now is this time of year that is ideal for busy mums like yourself to invest in YOU!!! To me, Self Care September means using your precious time to engage in activities that you may have put off due to the demands of your career, parenting and looking after other family and your home. So, for example, this could mean taking up a new hobby that you’ve been dreaming of (or rekindling an old one that you loved), or even going for a walk in the forest, reading a book or simply enjoying a quiet cup of herbal tea. But to me, it also means devoting time to my mental wellbeing, as well as concentrating on my physical health, which means regular exercise, healthy meal planning and stress management, which is easier to manage when there’s more structure to the day.
